POI Deep Dive is a chance for vendors to have a member of the POI Team meet with them on site in an advisory capacity. It is only available to POI members. Each Deep Dive session is designed to accomplish a strategic agenda set beforehand but typically consists of some combination of the following:
- Vendor member presents strategy and solution to POI.
- POI responds to what has been presented based on current buying patterns, where the market is going, pricing and price structures and where there are any areas for improvement.
- Review of collateral and marketing programs to ensure that the position is consistent with what the market currently wants and will want in the future.
- A SWOT analysis of the various competitors.
A variant of this product is for a POI executive to speak at a user conference or other event. The dive will be less deep but the impact will be broad. This will typically include a keynote speech plus presence at an event.
