POI Perspective
Next week at this time we will be in Geneva Switzerland for the launch of the POI Global Summit. The POI team is making final preparations now, as I am concluding reviews of the presentations for this watershed event. When we at POI use the term journey when referring to Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), or Collaborative Promotion Optimization (CPO) we are proud to lead this journey with you. We demonstrate this through our actions; graduatingCertified Collaborative Marketers (CCM); Summit agendas that serve your needs for continuously improving processes, enabling technology, and outcomes; research that is on point, and useful; and taking the bold steps necessary to serve your global needs globally with our first of its kind TPM-TPO-CPO. We recognized this need in Europe, and took the bold steps (the same bold steps we ask of you with your teams and organizations). This week I am at Saint Joseph’s University leading with Dr. Ronald Klimberg, helping our next generation of business leaders better understand the power of analytics and fact-based decisions, via the SJU Analytics Cup. It’s always exciting to be in a learning environment, sharing our enthusiasm and experience with advanced analytics on their turf. We will also be refining the Certified Collaborative Marketer Curriculum, as our next orientation is June 10-11 at the University. Reach me atmkantor@p-o-i.org for CCM enrollment information. As shoppers and consumers evolve, and serving their needs shifts, POI will continue innovate alongside our manufacturer and retailer members, creating the next step in our journey. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on POI… “Yet another great conference. Each summit continues to add more and more relevant content. The POI summit is the only conference I attend because it offers a wide array of subjects and depth. I especially like the forward thinking you bring every year with agenda items that don’t just reference where we have been but rather where we are headed. Thanks again for all you hard work!”
The next CCM Orientation in June 2015, enroll today and reserve your spot
Have a sensational week!
