The POI Best Practices series is a webinar series that acts as an extension of regular POI events to showcase what CG companies are doing, what is working, what is cool and how their vendor/services partners are helping them to make it happen.
These webinars will take place once per month throughout the year except for December and August. A dedicated POI resource will help with collecting the presentation materials, scheduling a dress rehearsal, and setting up the remote presentation session. For the “get the word out” content the vendor member will identify one of its clients and share stage for the webinar in something that approximates the following:
- Introductions
- Statement of the problem, approach, result and lessons learned
- Summary of how the vendor/service provider was key in success
- Q&A facilitated with questions coming through Webex in written form
- Closure
This product is only offered to POI vendor members and must focus on the best practices. It can’t be a sales pitch because that is not what viewers want. If they come away having learned something or having greater comfort with a business process automation question then it will be deemed a success.
