We hope you all had a peaceful, healthy, and safe Holiday weekend. On Friday, Pam and I had an opportunity to connect with the POI board. As difficult as these unprecedented times are, we shared from different perspectives (across CPG, Retail, Local, Global, People, Communities, etc.) on how leaders are moving from today’s reactionary business environment from Consumer to shelf to raw goods, and strategies to quickly adapt, relying on our people, existing analytics, and redefined processes for an evolving value chain. I could not be more proud of the work we do with our board, and their extended teams, including our industry that never hesitates to step up, and through crises. Additionally, I am proud to introduce POI’s newest board members, who brought needed new insight, and fresh perspectives for our initiatives with our growing membership. We are thrilled to welcome:
Vicki Wicker, Sr. Consultant at General Mills, Leabe Commisso, VP Sales, NA, for Kantar’s Trade Optimization Practice, Dr. Russell Zwanka, Professor, Food Marketing, Sienna College, and Leslie Mackay, Vice President Sales Canada
You’ll see their contributions immediately, as we shape new virtual summits, necessary business process and technology for a changing environment, and meet them in Chicago, IL at the rescheduled POI Chicago Summit on Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2020.
When we’re not working here at POI, we are delivering food to Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Seniors on their own. We also are donating 10% of the profits from the POI Virtual Summit.
